UNDATED (AP) -- Oil prices continue to rise this morning largely because of worries about inventories of crude oil at key terminal in Oklahoma.
The inventory in and around the Cushing delivery point is down by 1.4 million. Cushing is the delivery point for crude oil traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Light, sweet crude for September delivery on the Nymex rose 98 cents to $76.86 a barrel in electronic trading by midday in Europe. The contract rose by $2.32 cents Wednesday.
