STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- A Payne County judge says he'll decide next month whether a 14-year-old girl will be tried as an adult in the stabbing death of a Cushing woman. Maria Lynn Wiley is charged with first-degree murder in the May 19th stabbing of Alecia Dean.

Wiley is currently charged as an adult but her attorneys are asking that she be treated as a juvenile or as a youthful offender.

Wiley is being held without bail in the Pottawatomie County Juvenile Detention Center.
