CARSON, Calif. (AP) -- There's a chance David Beckham's first game with the Los Angeles Galaxy could be pushed back because of a lingering ankle injury.

Beckham is scheduled to make his debut Saturday in an exhibition game against Chelsea. But he was limited to some stretching and kicking drills Monday due to the injury.

Galaxy coach Frank Yallop says the ankle is quite swollen and lists Beckham as day to day.
