Oklahoma Teen Prepares To Swim In Pan American Games

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (AP) _ A teenage swimmer from Oklahoma is preparing to make her debut in the Pan American Games in Brazil. The Pan Am Games' swimming competition begins Monday, and on the women's side, 2004 Olympian Maritza Correia of Valrico, Florida and Samantha Woodward of Edmond will headline the women's 50-meter freestyle.
The 16-year-old Woodward is the youngest swimmer on the U.S. team. She attends Edmond Memorial High School.
