LOYAL, Okla. (AP) -- Two people were killed Saturday when their vehicles collided at a Kingfisher County intersection.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 69-year-old Jerry Don Garms and 38-year-old Bobby Lee Garlett, both of Loyal, died at the scene of the 10:50 a.m. collision.
Troopers say the crash occurred northeast of Loyal on a county road.
The patrol says a pickup truck driven by Garms was eastbound and failed to yield at an uncontrolled intersection, striking a second northbound pickup driven by Garlett.
Troopers say Garms was partially ejected out of the driver's side door of his vehicle. The patrol says neither of the victims was wearing a seat belt.
