Suspect Hides From Police In A Tree

A police chase lands a man up a tree overnight. A Tulsa officer tried to stop a driver in Tulsa early Saturday morning, but he refused to pull over instead opting to speed off, officials say.

Officers and the Tulsa Police helicopter chased the man to Owasso where he wrecked his truck and ran into some nearby woods, police said. The suspect tried to hide in a tree, but he fell from it after he was discovered by a canine officer, said authorities.

Police believe the man ran because he had drugs on him. The man allegedly threw a baggie out of the truck during the chase, officers back-tracked their steps to look for that evidence.
