TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Former Oklahoma State player Nina Stone is the new assistant women's basketball coach at Oral Roberts.

Stone comes to ORU from Daytona Beach, Florida, Community College, where she was an assistant coach the past two seasons. She's also played professional basketball in Puerto Rico the past two years.

Stone averaged 14.6 points during the 2004-05 season to lead Oklahoma State. She also averaged five rebounds and led the team with 63 assists.

ORU went 22-11 last season and won the Mid-Continent Conference title. The Golden Eagles lost to Minnesota in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
