UNDATED (AP) _ Traffic deaths in Oklahoma are down about 13% this year. And fewer than half the number of motorists who died on state roads and highways during the first two weeks of July 2006 have been killed so far this month.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 336 motorists have been killed in the state so far this year. That's 50 deaths fewer than the 386 motorists who died during the same period last year.
Troopers say that a total of 12 motorists have died in traffic-related crashes so fat this month. A total of 26 people were killed during the same period last July.
