What appears to be gang violence erupts overnight, sending two people to two Tulsa hospitals. It happened just after midnight at a Tulsa carwash near 46th Street North and Cincinnati. Someone opened fire on a car inside a stall. One man was standing outside the car, and a bullet hit him in the leg.
The driver of the car took off to another location, and dumped the car near 28th Street North and Iroquois. The victim was taken to the OSU Medical Center in another vehicle.
At about the same time, a second victim showed up at Hillcrest Medical Center, also with a gunshot wound to the leg. Tulsa Police want to know if the shootings are related.
Police officers believe both victims are members of the Hoover Crips gang.
