Tulsa Public Schools made a generous donation to Washington County flood victims Tuesday evening. TPS employees and student families have been collecting non-perishable food items and essential health supplies for flood victims of Northeastern Oklahoma. On Tuesday, volunteers loaded up a truck to help flood victims in Bartlesville.

"We've really been overwhelmed by the supplies being brought in,” said Tami Marler of Tulsa Public Schools. “We've had corporations come in and bring in bulk food and water items and also bulk cleaning items which our neighbors are really going to need."

Organizers say this collection event is not over and that more supplies is needed. It continues through Friday at the Education Service Center during normal business hours.
