PIEDMONT, Okla. (AP) -- The state Fire Marshal's Office is investigating an explosion at a fireworks show that severely burned a brother and sister who were part of the production crew. Twenty-five-year-old Travis Dillard and his 27-year-old sister Shannon Wilson suffered burns when a firework exploded close to the ground and lit a barrel of unused fireworks during Saturday night's show at the Piedmont High School football stadium.

Western Enterprises vice president Steve Frantz said yesterday his Carrier-based company doesn't know what caused the accident yet.

Frantz says Western Enterprises does hundreds of outdoor fireworks shows annually across the country and has been doing the Piedmont show for at least three years.

Pastor Jim McNabb of The Bridge Assembly of God Church said Shannon Wilson has burns over 35 percent of her body and her brother has burns to about 50 percent of his body.

A fund has been set up for Dillard and Wilson at First Fidelity Banks in the metro area.
