Brittney Schumann of McQueeney, Texas, who completed her OU career in April, is one of two nominees from the Big 12 Conference.

The top 10 winners each in Divisions One, Two and Three will be announced in August, and the field will be narrowed to three per division in September. The overall winner will be announced in Indianapolis on October 27th.

Schumann earned first-team All-America honors in the vault at the NCAA championships in April. She has a 3.96 grade point average in health and exercise science and plans to attend medical school following her graduation in December.
