REXBURG, Idaho (AP) _ A 2-year-old girl was fatally injured when she was accidentally run over in her driveway, a sheriff's officer said.

The toddler was struck by a sport utility vehicle as it was pulling out of the drive on Friday afternoon, Madison County sheriff's Chief Deputy Ryan Kaufman said.

Officials did not release the name of the driver or the toddler. Madison County Coroner Rick Davis said the right-rear tire of the Chevrolet Suburban struck the child as it pulled forward out of the home's attached garage. The girl died of head injuries, Davis said.
