NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma gymnast Jonathan Horton is a member of a six-person U.S. squad that will compete Saturday in Kiev, Ukraine, against teams from that nation and Russia.
Horton is joined by OU coach Mark Williams, who is an assistant coach for the American team.
The format for the international meet will be the same as for the World Championships and the Olympic Games.
Horton previously was a member of the 2006 U.S. World Championships team and hopes to make this year's squad and possibly earn a berth on the 2008 Olympic team.
