WIMBLEDON, England (AP) _ Tulsa native David Martin has advanced to the second round of the Wimbledon doubles tournament.

Martin and partner Scott Lipsky beat Albert Montanes and Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo of Spain 6-3, 6-3, 6-love.

Martin grew up in Tulsa before moving to Florida. He was later an All-American at Stanford where he and Lipsky were teammates.

The two will play the winner of the match between the teams of Ashley Fisher and Tripp Phipps and Michael Berrer and Michael Kohlmann.
