Scammers have come up with a new e-mail hoax. Someone is sending out e-mails that supposedly come from the Department of Justice. The letter claims the recipient is the target of a complaint.
The fake messages are addressed Dear Citizen. They may also include a case number and state the claim was filled by Mr. Henry Stewart. The e-mail may include the DOJ's logo and a copy of the complaint.
If you get one of these e-mails, just hit delete, it’s a hoax.
