SPENCER, Okla. (AP) -- Two Oklahoma County sheriff's deputies suffer injuries Saturday while riding motorcycles when a van swerved into them.
County sheriff's spokesman Mark Myers says the deputies, Ronnie Neal and Sergeant Glenn Bennett, were driving side-by-side when a van going the other direction pulled in front of them.
The name of the van's driver has not been released.
Myers says Neal was flown to Deaconess Hospital in serious condition, with a broken ankle and possibly other broken bones.
Bennett's injuries were minor and he was taken to the hospital by car.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
