KINGFISHER, Okla. (AP) -- Rescue workers are back at a Kingfisher creek Saturday searching for the body of a teenager who jumped into the rain-swollen waters on Thursday and is believed to have drowned.

More than 50 firefighters scoured Uncle John Creek Friday for the body of 15-year-old Jessie Taylor before the search was called off because of dangerous undercurrents.

Taylor and a friend jumped into the creek's rushing waters Thursday from a pedestrian bridge in Kingfisher Park. The friend swam out safely, but Taylor never resurfaced.

Firefighters Friday used a cadaver dog in a boat to aide in the search. Kingfisher Fire Chief Randy Poindexter says the dog hit on an area near a spillway, and crews dragged for the body but did not find anything.

A diver from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol was unable to dive Friday afternoon because of dangerous conditions fueled by recent heavy rain.
