The Tulsa County Sheriff's office is trying to figure out how a West Tulsa man died on Saturday. Deputies discovered the body of 64-year-old Jesse Lee Pickens inside his home. They say it appears he died from blunt force trauma to the head, but they're waiting on the autopsy for official word.
Deputies have discovered that Pickens lived with a woman and two small children. The children are in custody, but the woman is missing.
“The female is a person of interest. She is not a suspect. She may very well the last person to see him alive. We just want to talk to her to see what was going on before his death,†said Captain Michelle Robinette.
Deputies are also trying to find the victim's pickup. It's described as a 2003 blue Ford extended cab truck with license plate number 496-ZXQ. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call 596-9222.
