The City of Miami is getting help rebuilding after devastating floods this summer. More than 100 homes were destroyed. Now, city leaders say they've received grants to build a new sub-division outside of the flood plain.
The most recent grant will help qualified residents with a down payment on a home. The city’s also received money to build 20 homes in the sub-division. And, there is another grant to build eight new homes in an already existing housing addition.
