There is a new police chief in town. For the first time ever, Tulsa Public Schools has hired a police chief to head the school district’s police force. Kevin Scroggins is a former U.S. Marine and 16-year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department.
He comes to Tulsa from the Inglewood School District in southern California. Scroggins was the director of safety and security for Inglewood Schools.
Scroggins will begin his duties for the Tulsa School district in February.
