PAWNEE, Okla. (AP) _ The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is honoring the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma for its water pollution control program. The federal agency awarded the tribe with $120,000 in funding that will allow the tribe to continue to assess surface water quality on tribal lands.

Data obtained will help determine changes in the quality and condition of the tribe's water.
