OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Oklahomans seem to be mostly spared Saturday from a threatened second wintry blast, even as crews continued working to restore power to homes and businesses blacked out by a storm that hit early this week. The National Weather Service canceled heavy snow warnings for Oklahoma early Saturday, leaving winter weather advisories in effect.

In the central part of the state, the system brought only cold, light rain during the night instead of the 2 to 4 inches of snow that had been forecast.

Snow began falling in northwestern Oklahoma early Saturday and in central Oklahoma by mid-morning. Forecasts now are calling for accumulations of 1 to 3 inches.
