OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani cancels a planned campaign stop in Oklahoma City, saying he doesn't want to get in the way of recovery efforts from the ice storm.

The Republican presidential hopeful had been scheduled to visit at a restaurant to meet with diners and local supporters Thursday.

But a campaign official said Wednesday that Giuliani was concerned his appearance would be disruptive to recovery efforts under way to restore power and clean up debris from this week's ice storm.
