A robber who struck at a Tulsa motel is still on the loose. Tulsa police hope to change that. News On 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports police have surveillance video of the crime and are hoping you can help catch a crook.
The robbery happened at 1:00 a.m. on the morning of November 22nd. A man walked into the Econo Lodge at 3217 S. 79th E. Ave.
"Shows attendant the gun, it's black and silver semi-automatic and demands money. The desk clerk complies and the suspect leaves and no vehicle is seen at all," said Tulsa Police Department Officer Leland Ashley.
The robber is described as tall and thin and had a red bandana covering most of his face. The same Econo Lodge was robbed again on Thursday night and police wonder if it's the same man. They say, the clerk did exactly the right thing.
"Didn't offer any resistance, no back talk, just did what he was asked to do, that's the best thing to always do," said Officer Ashley.
Police hope someone turns in this robber, before he strikes again.
