Travis Outlaw's first NBA game-winner gave the Portland Trail Blazers their first road win of the season.

The fifth-year forward hit a 6-foot runner as the buzzer sounded Monday night to give Portland a 106-105 victory over the Memphis Grizzles.

"I saw that there was less than a second left or whatever out of the corner of my eye just when I shot it," said Outlaw, who finished with 21 points, including the Trail Blazers' last seven of the game in the final 56 seconds.

"I was hoping to get fouled, but they didn't call anything," Outlaw said of the game-winner. "Then, it went in anyway, and I was like 'Oh!"'

The Grizzlies had a foul to give but Mike Miller stayed with Outlaw as he drove to the basket for the off-balance bank shot.

"We talked about it," Miller said of committing the foul. "You never know how it's going to end. In hindsight, it looks like the play to make."

In other NBA games on Monday, it was: Atlanta 88, Philadelphia 79; Toronto 98, Charlotte 82; Dallas 103, Chicago 98; Utah 110, Miami 101; and Orlando 123, Golden State 117 in overtime.

The game-winner was Outlaw's second buzzer-beater of the game as his 30-footer at the horn cut Memphis' lead to 80-78 at the end of three quarters.

Outlaw bounced in a 9-footer with 56 seconds left and added a 3-pointer with 15 seconds remaining to give Portland the lead before Rudy Gay's tip-in with 2.8 seconds left set the stage for Outlaw's winning drive.

"(Outlaw) made just three extremely hard shots," Memphis' Pau Gasol said. "One of them bounced around and got in. The 3-pointer from the corner was wide open, but he still had to make it. Then that floater when the time was almost done. It was a very tough loss."

Outlaw was 8-for-13 from the field and connected on all three of his shots outside the arc.

Brandon Roy had 26 points for Portland, which had lost its first nine road games this season.

Gay and Miller both had 30 points for the Grizzles.

Memphis led 57-50 at halftime but came out flat in the early minutes of the second half, committing four turnovers in the first 3 minutes and missing its first three shots.

"We had a chance to lead by 13 or 15 and establish, but we didn't do that because of our transition defense," Memphis coach Marc Iavaroni said. "We came out very slow at the half, and all of a sudden, we're in a game. It was a little out of control." Hawks 88, 76ers 79

Josh Smith scored 22 points and Marvin Williams and Josh Childress both added 16 as Atlanta snapped a seven-game losing streak at Philadelphia. Al Horford had 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Hawks, who last won at Philadelphia on March 21, 2003.

Willie Green scored a season-high 23 points while Andre Miller added 18 for the Sixers, who lost for the 10th time in 13 games. Raptors 98, Bobcats 79

Kris Humphries and Carlos Delfino both scored 17 points for Toronto, which was without the injured Chris Bosh (strained groin), Andrea Bargnani (hyper-extended left knee) and T.J. Ford (left thumb). Jose Calderon had 12 points and nine assists and six players scored in double figures as the Raptors posted their fourth straight home win.

Gerald Wallace scored 19 points and rookie Jared Dudley had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Charlotte, which has lost six straight after a 6-4 start. Mavericks 103, Bulls 98

Josh Howard had 27 points, 10 rebounds and six assists and Dirk Nowitzki added 25 points for Dallas, which lost almost all of a 16-point fourth-quarter lead.

Andres Nocioni, who finished with 30 points, hit three free throws to pull Chicago within 101-98 with 11.6 seconds left, but Jason Terry answered with two free throws for the visiting Mavericks.

Kirk Hinrich, who was benched in favor of Chris Duhon to start the second half, scored 14 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter for the Bulls. Jazz 110, Heat 101

Mehmet Okur scored 25 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead Utah to its eighth straight home win.

Ricky Davis made two free throws to cut Utah's lead to 94-92 with 3:44 to play, but the Jazz went on a 9-2 run. Okur's 3-pointer from the left side capped the spurt that put the Jazz ahead 103-94 with 1:19 to play.

Carlos Boozer had 24 points and 15 rebounds while Deron Williams added 24 points and 15 assists for the Jazz.

Dwyane Wade led Miami with 26 points and 10 assists but went just 6-for-12 from the free-throw line. Magic 123, Warriors 117, OT

Dwight Howard scored four of his 18 points in overtime as the NBA's top road team improved to 11-2 away from home and 16-4 overall. Jameer Nelson had 22 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds for the Magic. Keith Bogans scored 22 points added for Orlando.

Stephen Jackson scored all 25 of his points after halftime in the Warriors' second defeat in 11 games since an 0-6 start. Monta Ellis finished with 22 points, a career-high 12 rebounds and seven assists and Baron Davis scored 19 points to go with nine assists for the Warriors.
