Bikers from across Green Country got into the Christmas spirit by taking part in the annual Salvation Army Toy Run on Sunday. Thousands of Tulsa families have asked for help, making sure their children have a present under the tree and area bikers are making sure they do.
Once they arrived at the Salvation Army, workers began loading up the goodies so they could be delivered to families in need.
"Christmas is about the kids and it's wonderful to see these big burly gentlemen with these baby dolls and everything strapped onto their bikes to kids can have a good Christmas," said Brad Borror of the Salvation Army Public Relations:
Rick Helmerich has been riding in the Salvation Army Toy Run for about 20 years.
"There's the biggest, meanest looking guys in the world, and they're teddy bears today 'cause we're all helping kids," said Helmerich.
Helmerich says no matter the weather, he'll be back next year.
