The ceremonial groundbreaking of a new technical institute took place in Claremore on Friday. The Northeast Technology Center will host a number of programs for high school students.
Those programs will consist of health care education, like nursing, as well as automotive and environmental technology.
The Claremore campus will help serve the growing demand of students who are currently seeking technical education in Rogers County.
