ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) -- Republicans are going at it in Florida. An early testy exchange at the Republican CNN-YouTube debate involved Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney.

The two presidential hopefuls sparred over immigration. Giuliani accused Romney of employing illegal immigrants at his home. Romney argued that Giuliani retained New York's status as a sanctuary city while he was mayor.

A Democratic version this summer included variations on typical debate questions and queries but from unusual questioners, including a melting snowman frightened about global warming.
