A Warner man accused of raping a child has waived his right to a preliminary hearing. Charles LaBounty will enter a formal plea to five counts of lewd molestation and three counts of rape by instrumentation at a December 27th formal arraignment in Muskogee County District Court.
His estranged wife, Sherry LaBounty will be arraigned the same day on a charge of enabling child abuse by injury.
The charges stem from allegations that Charles LaBounty sexually assaulted a 9-year-old girl over a two-year period.
