DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Two men tried to rob a Brinks Security truck outside a shopping mall, and a security guard and a suspected robber were shot, police said. Douglasville police put the Arbor Place Mall in west Georgia under lockdown as they tried to find a suspect who possibly was driving a getaway car, television stations in Atlanta reported.
Police said the security guard and the suspect were wounded and expected to live. Mall management and Douglasville police did not return a call for comment from The Associated Press. The mall was later reopened.
