STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy is giving the Cowboys the week off while coaches are on the recruiting trail.

Gundy says the players need some time away from the coaches and some time to heal from various injuries suffered during the season.

Gundy says he expects the next practice will be next Sunday when OSU begins preparing for a bowl game and he says he'll likely open the first four to six practices to the public.
