Enid Oilman Named 2007 Entrepreneur Of The Year

ENID, Okla. (AP) The chairman of an Enid-based oil and natural gas exploration and production company has been named the Ernst & Young 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year in the energy, chemical and mining category.

Harold Hamm is the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Continental Resources.

Hamm was recognized for turning his small, one-truck oilfield service business into a major corporation with operations in the Rocky Mountain, Mid-Continent and Gulf Coast regions of the United States.
