One Person Killed In ATV Accident

A deadly accident on a 4-wheeler kills one brother and sends another to a Tulsa hospital Thursday evening. The accident happened just south of Pine on 151st East Avenue near Catoosa.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says two brothers were speeding down the street on an ATV and crashed into a cement mailbox. A 13-years-old boy was killed instantly. His 24-year-old brother was flown by medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital.

â€œThe family was here and it was just very emotional, it was chaotic at the time. It's just one of those accidents you don't get used to seeing,â€ said OHP trooper Matt Sullivan.

OHP investigators are not sure who was driving, but they know neither were wearing helmets.
