TU Soccer Player Receives Player Of The Week Honors

Tulsa senior forward Eric Burkholder was named to the Soccer America National Team of the Week, announced Wednesday by Soccer America magazine. Burkholder earned College Soccer News National Team of the Week accolades earlier this week.

Burkholder tallied two goals for Tulsa in a 3-2 victory over FIU in the Conference USA Championship game, earning TU its first tournament title since the Golden Hurricane won the Missouri Valley Conference Championship in 1991, as well as the first NCAA tournament bid since 2004.

A Broken Arrow, Oklahoma native, Burkholder has posted four goals and eight assists for 16 points this season, and has 12 goals and 24 assists for 48 career points.
