Tickets to the first announced concert at Tulsa’s BOK Center went on sale Monday morning. Fans spent several hours in line Monday at the Tulsa Convention Center ticket office waiting to purchase tickets to next November's Celine Dion concert. Dion's concert is the first one that has been announced for the new arena.
Fans say if standing in line is what they need to do to see some big stars, that is what they'll do. “It's gonna be a big show, it's gonna be sold out probably and I don't want to sit up in the rafters. I want to get a good seat and to get a good seat, this is what you have to do,†said Stephenee Carlton.
The concert is set for November of 2008. Ticket prices start at $50 and go up to $170.
You can also buy tickets online at www.BOKcenter.com or by calling 1-877-TULSACC.
Celine Dion’s Tulsa appearance is the only one scheduled in Oklahoma for her “Taking Chances†tour.
