Man Killed On Exit Ramp

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol needs help from the public concerning a fatal hit and run accident over the weekend. OHP troopers say they were notified around 7 oâ€™clock Saturday morning that a body was lying in the road near the 65th West Avenue exit on state Highway 64 in Sand Springs.

Troopers have identified the man as James Murphy of Tulsa. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says evidence shows Murphy was walking across the exit ramp when he was struck.

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call the Troop B Headquarters of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol at 627-0440.
