New developments in the future of Tulsa's Boeing plant. It's been known for months that Boeing is interested in selling their plants in Wichita and Tulsa.
Now, internal company documents have surfaced suggesting a sale of Boeing's Wichita and Tulsa plants could happen by the end of October. And the transition could start by the end of the year with completion by the end of next March.
Boeing employee Ed Allen: "I'm sure the company will have our best interests and they'll take it, and whatever happens will be best for all of us."
The good news for Tulsa is that everybody, from the higher-ups on down, agree that Boeing needs this plant to stay open as a supplier, no matter who owns it.
