TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Tulsa's women's tennis team swept all six matches to open the 12th annual Hurricane Invitational.

Sophomore Santie Delport defeated Wichita State's Wendi Webster yesterday six-love, six-three. Senior Lisette Pereira edged out Wichita State's Anna Exeni six-three, seven-five.

Kindsay Grimes defeated Wichita's State's Alejandra Ripoll six-love, six-love. Grimes later posted a victory over Iowa State University's Daniela Renovales, six-one, six-three.

The Golden Hurricane women played two rounds of doubles, finishing five-to-one on the opening day.

The pairing of Delport and Pereira defeated Liz Gurza and Paty Manzur of Southwest Missouri State eight-two.

The T-U women return to action this morning.
