Some Tulsa County Sheriff deputies are praising a daycare center's lockdown policy. Authorities were searching Friday morning for a man wanted in connection with a police chase and who had threatened officers.

The man, Billy Todd Simpson, ran from the back of the house and into a nearby child development center near 1st and 65th West Avenue. He then ran out the back door of the center and ran into some nearby woods.

Authorities say students and teachers handled the situation well. Just about an hour later, officers arrested Simpson.
