OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A state agency's former financial director has waived her right to a preliminary hearing.
Geneva Faye Worthen is the former financial director of the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology.
Worthen's accused of trying to intimidate three grand jury witnesses. She's also accused of collecting more than 28-thousand dollars in pay for time she never worked. She's pleaded innocent.
A state grand jury indicted Worthen in April on 22 counts of making fraudulent claims for submitting time cards that allegedly included hours she never worked.
Worthen was also indicted on three counts of witness intimidation for filing lawsuits against three fellow employees scheduled to testify before the grand jury.
