OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Federal indictments have been handed down against two alleged gang members accused of importing methamphetamine and cocaine to Oklahoma.
Dennis Emerson Gonzalez faces 37 felony counts related to drug trafficking, methamphetamine and cocaine distribution and money laundering. Maria Elena Ginez faces 15 counts related to the conspiracy.
The indictment says Gonzalez, a gang member from the Los Angeles-area city of Compton, moved to Oklahoma City and began hanging out with a gang on the city's south side.
The indictment says that in 2002, Gonzalez arranged for members of his Compton gang to bring drugs from Los Angeles. The Oklahoma City gang helped sell the drugs until October.
