Several local heroes were honored Thursday for saving a teenager's life after a bad car accident last September.

18-year old Diana Miller was in the hospital for more than four months with many critical injuries. Saint Francis Hospital awarded the Excellence in Trauma Care Award Thursday to two Broken Arrow Police officers who were first on the accident scene.

The Broken Arrow Fire Department, Tulsa's Life Flight team and everyone who cared for Diana while at Saint Francis were also honored.
