WASHINGTON (AP) _ Shoemaker Reebok is voluntarily recalling 140-thousand of its Allen Iverson toddler shoes.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says there's a potential choking hazard involved with the Iverson-Answer model.
It says the logo on the shoe's tongue can be peeled off and could choke a young child.
The commission says there have been no reports of injuries, but it adds the mother of an eight-month-old child had to remove the item from her baby's mouth.
The shoes were in stores from March through August and cost about 35 dollars.
Parents of children who own the shoes are advised to visit the company's Web site or call their toll free number.
(Stations: Model numbers included in the recall are: 99553, B99553, 99554, B99554, 105155, B105155, 105158 and B105158. The model number can be found on a label on the underside of the tongue.
Consumers are advised to stop using the shoes immediately and contact Reebok on the Web at http://www.reebok.com or at (800) 843-4444 for a refund.)
