We could learn more Monday about a weekend shooting involving a Sapulpa police officer. That shooting left a Creek County man in critical condition and the officer is suspended.
It started when officers were called to break up a fight at a bar called "Pat's Place," near Hobson and Park. When Sergeant Brett Henson arrived, he found 38-year-old William Terry Keef cutting himself with a knife. Henson told Keef to drop the knife. Officers say when Keef advanced toward the officer, he was shot several times.
Henson is on routine leave, pending the outcome of an Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation investigation.
