Residents in Broken Arrow should feel a little safer, that's because the city's fire department has a new fire truck.

The truck carries 1,000 gallons of water, the old one only carried half that. Fire officials say they hope to buy another new truck by the end of the year.

The old trucks will be used for training purposes.
