Women's International Bowling Congress to hold tournament in Tulsa

Next spring, some 42,000 bowlers will invade Tulsa. Wednesday, the Women's International Bowling Congress announced that Tulsa's Riverlanes Bowling Alley will host their 2005 championship tournament.

Next spring, some 42,000 bowlers will invade Tulsa. Wednesday, the Women's International Bowling Congress announced that Tulsa's Riverlanes Bowling Alley will host their 2005 championship tournament.

That means more than $40-million for the local economy. Roseann Kuhn with the Women's Intl Bowling Congress: "8500 teams, records show each person brings with them one a and half, converging on your city and your area."

The WIBC bowling tournament will be held April 9th through June 24th.
