Thousands of students across the nation gathered Wednesday morning for the 15th annual See You at the Pole.

Christian students gathered around flagpoles at their schools to worship together and pray for their schools, their teachers, their classmates, and the nation.

Many communities host the annual event that is student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led.

Several churches also held After the Pole gatherings Wednesday evening.
