Two servicemen from Oklahoma have been killed in the Middle East.

Air Force Captain John Boria died Sunday, US Marine Lance Corporal Lamont Wilson died Monday.

29-year-old Air Force Captain John Boria died in an all-terrain vehicle accident in the nation of Qatar. His refueling squadron was there to support Operation Iraqi Freedom.

News on 6 reporter Steve Berg talked to people who knew Boria when he grew up in Broken Arrow.

Neighbors say John's family moved there when he was about 11 years old. They say he was quiet, well-mannered, and always tried to do the right thing. John went to Union High School, where he graduated in 1993. He was also a member of the football team.

Football Coach Bill Blankenship immediately the story about Union High School and was saddened to see John's name. He says he had just taken the job as head coach when John was a senior. He says John was not a great player, but says that's not what mattered. "He's what high-school football is all about. He's one of the guys who was a vital part of our program, a senior, wide-receiver, not a big guy, but he loved playing football and loved being a part of it."

John's family has already left for the Middle East. He is also survived by a brother who lives in Florida. Funeral services are still pending.

US Marine Lance Corporal Lamont Wilson was one of seven Marines killed in a suicide bombing in Iraq. Wilson was assigned to the Second Battalion, First Marine Regiment at Camp Pendleton, California.
