A Muskogee restaurant is serving up a popular tradition once again. For almost 40-years, the owner of Chet's Hotdog stand put pictures of the Muskogee High School cheerleaders on the walls of his tiny diner.
But when the restaurant changed hands, the pictures went missing and Rougher fans got rough. "Everybody was upset when the pictures were gone. I guess the last person that owned Chet's wouldn't give up the pictures when they sold the place."
Fortunately, the new owners say they were able to work out a deal to get the pictures back. They plan to give discounts to players and cheerleaders in uniform on game day, in hopes the new generation will continue the tradition.
